Guitar Rig 4 LE

Hi A real newbe question here im afraid.
 
I have installed Sonar X1 producer and.
 
 I am managing to get rount the interface OK
 
I am wondering How to record using Guitar Rig In X1. I can load guitar rig fine and Play The sounds as a standalone interface.
 
I am also wondering is it possible to use a Midi keyboard controller to Play Guitar Rig.
Would appreciate any advice please.

Guitar Rig is an effect rather than an instrument in that it works on sound that is either coming in to the PC or has been recorded. You could use it as an effect on a bus or softsynth output if you wanted to "play" it; otherwise, the parameters can be controlled by MIDI. HTH

Using a midi track with a guitar voice, example TSS-1 Nylon guitar, insert the GR4 into the FX bin of the TTS-1 track and you'll get the desired effect your looking for.
