Bit Depth ALWAYS 16, even when set otherwise

Bit Depth ALWAYS 16, even when set otherwise



The bit rate is expressly set to 24-bit.  Why are all the projects I start 16-bit no matter what?  Is there something else I need to change?

    Yes, you have to change it at Edit-Preferences-File-Audio Data.
