Anyone have luck with Syncing a AxeFX via MIDI with the VS-700R?

Currently having problems syncing the AxeFX standard via midi with my VS-700R. I tested the MIDI loopback feature (connecting MIDI in to the MIDI out of the VS-700R) and it succeeded, however when trying to use the Axe-Edit it only receives data from the PC and doesn't send to the PC so I can't sync my presets. Not sure what I'm doing wrong but the Editor reads the AxeFX correctly..

Audio works perfectly fine into X1, I just can't get the MIDI to sync.

    I think it might just be that I haven't done the 2.0 update, will try that later today and see if that does anything.
