Halving tempo while retaining actual tempo...details inside.

Here's the deal.  I am working on a project with a friend and he somehow set the tempo at 160 when it is actually being played, so to speak, at 80.  I hope that makes sense.  Basically all the midi notes are twice the length they need to be.    And there are a lot of them.  Is there any quick fix for this so I can switch the tempo to 80 and still have the song play just like it does now?  Alternatively, if there's a way to set the tempo of rex loops, I may be able to work something out with that.  The whole point of this is so I can audition some loops.  Any help would be appreciated.

You can do this using Fit to Time in the Process menu. Set your new tempo (80) in the tempo selector, select the clips you want to change, choose Fit  to time, with the Tempo Map option and tell it how many bars 0r how long the selection should be.
