Matching the library drumming patterns with which native plug?

Matching the library drumming patterns with which native plug?

The drum patterns [ptn] from the library are supposed to get matched with what native plugins?  I seem to be getting less than desired results, so I knew it was time to ask :)

    There were only two of them: nPulse and Velocity, so I would guess they would work with one or the other of these...
