pan control not visible in console view

pan control not visible in console view

I have Sonar 8.5 LE installed on a windows 7 64 bit machine. In console view the pan control does not show up anywhere.  Am I missing a setting in views or options?

    Is there anybody out there?  Anyone else experience this - no pan control in console view?

    There should be a knob looking control at each track that says "pan" when you mouseover in console view.  I'll find it and make a screen cap.
