Systemrequirements for HS7

Hey everybody. Its my first post.
I have a question about the system requirements.
I have a Notebook with Vista; Intel Pentium duo T7300 2.00MHz and 4Gb RAM.
What do you think? Will the program work fine on my system?
It would be an upgrade from guitar tracks 4 wich came with the VS-20

Thanks
Chrischan

yes, that should work fine.  the limitation will be how many tracks, FX and softsynths you have in your project.

however, a more important question is what soundcard do you have?  if you're going to try to use the onboard soundcard then you will have higher limitations with it than you will with a Core Duo 2GHz with 4G Ram.  the onboar soundcard is not capable of large or CPU intensive projects.

    Thanks Beagle. Good news.
How can I resolve the problem with the soundcard. An extern one?

    Hey. Me again.
There is one point I don`t understand completely. I read a while in this forum. When you write about a audiointerface, are you speaking about a extern Soundcard? Does it mean the same or are that two different pair of shoes? I asked because in my opinion the VStudio 20 is a audiointerface and in this case, a external Soundcard??
Ohje. Its not a HS7 threat at the moment. Sorry for that.

yes, an external USB or firewire (if your laptop has firewire and if it's a TI chipset - USB is probably safer).  check my website for soundcard recommendations.

yes, and I talk about that on my website too.  EXTERNAL INTERFACE = SOUNDCARD = AUDIO INTERFACE.  they're ALL soundcards.

so yes, the VS20 IS a soundcard (and control surface).
