SONAR suddenly renders the audio images *really* slowly

Sorry that I can't describe the problem in a better way. I've never had this problem before, but since yesterday, SONAR has rendered all imported or recorded "waveform images" terribly slowly. I'm used to just pressing R,  pressing space when finished, and then see directly what the recording looks like. Now it takes at least 10 seconds, depending on length.

I suspect that I've mistakenly changed some settings or pressed some button (much like Pause/Break "caused my graphics card to break"), but I can't find any info about it.

Help would be much appreciated!

    Time to delete your picture cache folder, that'll speed it up.

    Hopefully someone else will chime in with the default location for it (can't remember off the top of my head) I think you should be able to track it down by looking in options / global.

    Alright, that helped, thanks!

    Such an easy fix once you know the problem. The program should really offer to take care of this when it notices that things go slowly..

    What it should do is drop old ones off the list as new ones are generated.

    Should be easy enough to do, at most a dozen lines of code.

    Very strange - I thought the pic cache dropped files based on lack of activity ...  some investigation to do here ...
