Missing tuner in X1 Pro

I can't seem to find the tuner among available effects in X1 Pro.  Has anyone else had this problem?  Is there a way to get the specific dll for that so I can copy it into the vstplugins folder?  I can't find it.

Thanks

I think there should be one in the Guitar rig. (just to the right of the preset box then Pre, Post and Tuning fork.  Click on tuning fork)
I have GR Pro but I assume it should also be in the LE version.

Should also be one under Audio FX - Cakewalk(upper one if showing 2 Cakewalk categories)  - Tuner(at the very bottom)

The cakewalk tuner is still there. Have you excluded it in the plugin manager?

    Don't know if it's included in X1, but in 8.5 it's there as a DirectX effect - C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Shared Plugins\CWTuner.dll.
It's listed in Plugin Manager under DirectX Audio Effects (DX)

that stupid cake tuner never worked right for me in all versions of sonar - it either doesnt respond or the needle is all over not indicating the note played -

mine is still listed in x1 under the cakewalk effects and still useless
I just use my hand held tuner - Pod tuner -  or my ears

    awful tuner that

I didn't install Guitar Rig LE.  I also didn't exclude any plugins.  I was thinking I could go through my old hard drive with the 8.53 install to find the right dll, but didn't want to have to reconnect it.  I was hoping that the right dll was located on the X1 DVD and it would be as simple as copy and paste.

It should have installed as part of the X1 installation.

I have a Conn Strobotuner.  My notes are very precise.

I ended up reconnecting my old hard drive and grabbing the dll from the old shared plugins folder.  As a bonus, I also got back the Pantheon reverb which is missing from X1.  The Perfect Space reverb is 32 bit.  64 bits all the way!

Thanks to all for the help.

I second the motion to use the GR4 LE Tuner; it works much better for me than the CW tuner ever did.

Yeah, the CW tuner is not all that great.  I'd rather use a 10 buck tuner from the local music store.

The Peterson Strobosoft is great too. Accurate enough to intonate a guitar with.

Those 10 dollar generic tuners are not accurate at all. Same with the BOSS TU-2 pedals.

I also am missing the tuner fron X1 Pro. I tried installing the 32 bit version alongside my 64 bit version but still no tuner in my effects.

The Cakewalk Tuner is no longer included in SONAR as of X1.

The Peterson StroboSoft tuner is by far the only tuner for DAW that works properly imo. You can get it from Cakewalk's product page by the way.
