Help please!!

Unfortunately my studio's benefactor purchased a Tascam US-800 to run my Sonar 8.5/X1. I have everything sounding pretty good except Sonar won't record my mic signals.

With devices that show up as multiple inputs/outputs in Sonar it is very important that the audio track you are recording on is using the same input that your mic is plugged into. So that's the first thing I would check.

I did try that out and make sure. Sonar will only operate with the interface ASIO and I did get a little confused, but tried them all I think. I hear everything good but it just doesn't record any signal. Thanks

You might be hearing audio from Input Monitoring, which is audio you hear independently of what is going into the computer. If you would post screencaps of ALL the tabs in your Sonar audio options we can get a better idea of what is going on and may be able to offer more constructive advice instead of just guessing at what the problem is.
