These are some picutres I have taken over the years, and the info on how I done this.
I'm not a pro. and don't claim to be. I'm sure there are professional's out there who's gonna say : DUH You could have done this or that.
That being said, I thought this might help someone so I thought I'd post this information I realized today.
First, here are some pictures I have taken over the years, notice they change automatically.
I know there are several ways to make .gif animations. This works for me and was real easy to do.
To make this I used a program called :
Photoscape, Download Link Click Here After installing the program select the .gif animation option. You just drag and drop your pics onto the top screen from the folder where your pics are. You can change the way they are displayed by right clicking on the individual photo's, or you can use the right screen options to change the display times etc...... Pay attention to the right of the screen where it says "Stretch Image/Full Image etc...." that's important as to how it's displayed, lots of options there.
To post this kinda stuff, just select the image option in your reply/post and insert the link to where you photo is hosted from.
Hope this helps someone, it's pretty dang cool I think. You can make Avatars and Favicons this way, but you have to keep in mind the image and file size so that it meets the requirements of the website you are sending it to.
I hope you like my stupid pics.
BTW: I have these on my website also. Using this method depending on how picture happy I get they can change monthly. The link for my site is in my sig.
Something else to think about is you can narrate the pictures individually, or time line them by creating a separate .gif with text and use the same timing by adding the text .gif below the photo's. That's a lot of trouble. Not for me : Meaning I'll end up doing it when I get bored sometime soon.
Oh well, I hope this helps someone.
Keep in mind, posting pictures this way might take up a lot of bandwith for your host or server, just thought I'd mention that.
Either way I think this is a pretty cool thing to be able to do. Good luck!
Bobby
