Disk 4 of 4 - what's on it?

Apart from two demo projects there's an exe file and when I fire it up it says "A valid Dimension Pro Installation has not been detected.  Please install Dimension Pro before running this setup."  But: I bought the full DimPro a while back and it's installed - I can insert it in an X1 project.  So is the disk 4 content superfluous ??
(Edit:  I found a patch in disk 3 to take my version of DimPro from 1.2 to 1.5, but even then I get the same error message above when I try to run disk 4.)

If you do a search, there's a known issue with the DP upgrade and serial number recognition. Someone posted a workaround, if you don't mind getting in the registry.

demo projects and a couple DimPro expansion packs.  The latter may be useful, the former not so much.

I went through this like many others. Agreed what derFunk states. Contact tech support and they will email exact steps to remedy this-only takes a few minutes inside of Reg Files then ya can load all of the disks with NO prolems. Win7 64 bit is a lil bit different but easy enough to figure out. Im not an IT person so if I could manage it should be very simple to one with a lil knowledge.  Good luck

What ever you do, DO NOT look directly into it.  Who knows what might be swirling around in there.

I followed the procedures on the other two threads which set out the instructions given by CW support (two different sets of instructions...) and neither worked for me.  I spent five hours on it and finally went to bed defeated at 2:30am.  Thanks CW.  You should be ashamed.  You're aware of this major cockup so why doesn't someone come here, apologise and set out clearly what needs to be done to update DimPro and install the disk 4 content?  That could even enable you to avoid countless identical help telephone calls as well as demonstrate commitment to customer service.  What a mug I am - I even bought the fulll DimPro a while back and now I've paid for an upgrade to be deprived of the benefit of it.  Mad, you bet.
