Reverse sounds - how are you doing it?

Simple question.   How are you guys making sounds in reverse?

My way is not the best.  I record a sound, cut it and reverse it in front of the original sound.  Is there a plug-in that does this effectively?

Thanks

Joe

That is the process that I currently use.... maybe my post was not as clear as I meant.

I guess my questions is if there is a plug-in that will do this instead of me doing it as described above?  Something that will allow you to change the settings like a reverb plug-in will allow... longer reverse times, eq etc.  Anything that you guys are aware of?

Thanks

Joe

Rob Papen Delay ( which is a really sweet dealy in and of itself BTW) Has an algo that replaces the delay lines with a "reverser" .

Lots  of modulations in the package as well ...... go demo!

Sound forge or another stereo editor.  It has speed controls by percentage, reverse, pitch, etc.
