LA Guns - One More Reason cover

So, I can't sing (so no vocals) and my guitar playing is indifferent!  But its lot of fun and I enjoy trying to put a mix together.

I was going for a live sort of feel on this - comments and suggestions on the mix would be much appreciated.

My first impression is that i like it - but would like it more if you 'nudged' the drum track 'left 3'. It is lagging behind slightly - perhaps there's a latency issue somewhere when recording.

I'm a drummer so it distracts me totally.

Apart from that it sounds good - could maybe use some more high end instruments to stretch out the spectrum a little - sounds like there's room for more in there.

(Drums sound ace by the way - maybe give the kick more punch n sort out the lag n they'll be nice!)

Did you mean you wanted this to sound like a Live Concert?
I thought it was good LA GUNS memories drums were a little different maybe if they were placed a little left it would be something you should try....We need more metal on cakewalk forums keep it coming bro....

I liked the bass sound as soon as it began.
Drums and guitar sound good too. Good guitar work.
Nice rockin track. The mix sounds cool also, has a live 'space' to it.

If you can't sing, record yourself singing so we can say you can't sing. j/k
I could record myself 'singing' and we can see who can't sing better

Thank you very much for the comments.  Its good to know that it sounds at least half decent.

Yes, I was going for a live space feel to it and I think I see what you mean about the drums - they are perhaps just lagging a little.  Will try to fix that and have another look at the kick.

And if only I had a microphone for vocals...  Guitars and Bass are through AT3 and Drums are Steven Slate.
