Can you all throw in a keyboard shortcut for the mute tool when comping it was great to hit on key to toggle the mute on and off Having to hit f10 until the right tool pops up and then hit f 5 to go back tothe mutlit tool I am trying to amster  40 or 50 time in a song session is not helpful to the work flow!

    Hi Jerry,

If you only need to mute an entire clip, you don't need the Mute tool. Just select the clip and press K to toggle muting.

Not sure if that's what you need, but thought I would put it out there, just in case.

no I just need to mute a smaller section with the magic cursor wand to do it now I have to toggle f10 to get to the mute eraser then hit f5 to turn it back to the multi tool.   I use it alot when tracking and comping.

it used to be, hit a keyboard shortcut key edit hit it again to get back to the regular cursor
