Wait for Sandy Bridge?

Wait for Sandy Bridge?

I'm currently using Sonar 8.5 and it's time for a processor upgrade.
 
I can either go with an i7 930 or 960 or else wait for the new Sandy Bridge 2600 (which was released for a short time but then pulled when they discovered a design flaw).
 
The Sandy Bridge will be out again in a few months. Will the performance be better enough for me to wait or will it be just sleightly better with regards to Sonar?
