I am ashamed....
Well almost....ashamed to post this picture of a new tune I'm working on..... Metallica .... step aside.... I have a totally compressed file. This baby only has 20 places where it isn't maxed. It sounds good.... it's loud for sure..... but I will be adjusting lots of levels in this. It's in rough draft form right now..... I got a kick out of seeing this and thought some of you might too...... an example of what not to do?  This is how I prefer to have my work turn out... lots of space for dynamics.  .

In my own defense.... BAPU made me do it.
I have since made the proper gain reduction levels to get a semblance of dynamic range into the project.

i'm going to make it my mission to be able to compress an audio file like that, no matter how it sounds. I just have to and when i'm done and get some crazy looks from my ME, i'll just point to this post and blame it all on you. Bad guitarhacker..bad...!!!

No.... I haven't really thought about it too much.... maybe I will finish it.... but I've been so busy working on other music..... Greg, I made a note to dig it up and have another listen to it tomorrow.....maybe it'll strike me right and I'll finish it.
