V Vocal on vocals recorded with 2 microphones??

Hi, I recorded some vocals with 2 microphones on a single vocalist.  There are obviously 2 separate tracks.  I need to do some pitch correction.  How do I apply the same adjustments in V Vocal on one track to the other?  Thanks.

got it do it independently unless of course you have vcvocal set for a certain setting permanently. then copy the plug to the second track. if youre actually in there playing with individua note pitch and   timeing per note i know no way of doing it to both at same time(what she said)lol maybe group the tracks? i dont think so

I think the only way you'll do that is to create 2 separate V-Vocal tracks and applying the exact same settings in both.

Clip grouping will work on most things but not V-Vocal AFAIK.

Yah, with V-Vocal's integration level things like this are not easily possible.

I think you could bounce the 2 mono vocal tracks to a single stereo vocal track and then you only have to apply V-Vocal once. Could be worth a try. I don't know why you would record the same vocal with 2 mics anyway.

having more than one mic on any source allows you to capture a wider frequency range.  Having a dynamic can capture a very direct vocal sound, while adding a condenser can capture the highs better.  Another reason is for different effects for particular sections of a song.  For the verse you might want a clear vocal track, but perhaps for the chorus you want more grit and that can be done by fading in the second mic with those unique qualities.  Putting 2 dynamics on a tube amp for electric guitar can create a bigger complicated image if that is what you are going for.  Try it, sounds great!

V-Vocal works best in small slices. So, I tend to only use it on certain notes or phonemes of particular phrases. You can then finesse a much better overall track which is more natural than applying pitch correction to the whole take. Listen to any classic record that's how real people sound, unless you're going for that processed sound, you'll want to finesse it.

Make sure each track has the splices put in at the exact same place in the timeline. Make sure each setting on V-Vocal is the same between the tracks.

You may still get some weird phase issues between the tracks if the Mic's weren't the same distance away from the singer or if they weren't at the 1:3 ratio. You'll have to try it. You may be able to fix phase later too manually.

I have this same problem and we ended up just using one of the mic tracks. V-Vocal only works with mono source material.
