Mess Around

As part of my effort to learn more about New Orleans piano, I transcribed and recorded Mess Around by Professor Longhair as played on the Rock N' Roll Gumbo album.   I'd love to know what people think about the recording, the mix, or anything else.

It's the mess around! LOL! I know this tune :-) One of my favorite scenes of all time! I bring the drums/percussion up just a weence. And Planes Trains and Automobiles version has a sax? And was a little more up tempo? I like the Ray Charles version better. The vocals make it better too.

    Robby,

What a great scene.  I had forgotten that they used the Ray Charles version of Mess Around in Planes Trains, and Automobiles.  Thanks for posting it.
