mbox 3 pro

so I got a mbox 3 pro thinking I migfht as well learn PT while I wait for x1b to come out.  but Pt8 le is just as bad.    Pt will not even open due to "cannot find hardware" errors.  ITS A FREAKIN AVID INTERFACE and PT can't find it....

so I re installed X1 cuz its more stable...   YES  that's not a type-o.   problem now, is  I can record fine but the playback is unreconizable.    sounds like a  huge sample rate or buffer problem.  but I cant work it out to save my life.   moved the slider from one extreme to the next without results.

So with no X1  or Pt in working order.. i'm officially shut down.      joy   joy

Phenom Quad core,  8gb ram, 3.5tb of Fine Music Storage Vault Under Armed Guard w/ UAV support (air-hog chopper), set of MA-15D, Delta 10-10 pci w/interface, m-box 3 pro, projectmix I/O, Metal Pop Filters, Two SKB cases Full of Suck Removal Buttons, Cedar Walls, Stripper Pole (helps with mastering & block priceing) more stuff i'm to lazy to add. ;)
P.S. good Memory foam is freakin awesome.

here's what I found out. you cant have two audio interfaces with PT8.
x1 works with both interfaces connected. pt8 works like crap.

its amazing how the avid m box 3 pro works so well with Sonar x1 and I have still not got protools to work.  I thought the X1 flop was gonna cost CW when the other companies jumped on it  but looks like to me it was more of a Jim Jones type deal.  protools is a waste of hard drive space if it cant be used.  and sonar is at least in working order now.
you would think for something that cost twice as much, you might at least get a working program.  at least sonar only stuck me for $100..
