remixed songs.. now remixed adverts..

JR Hartley advert , most UK folk will know

1983 original
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r2TilNclT8k

2011 remix
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k8YDZKTvWMw

JR Still runs things, flipping imposters.. no real DJ would have 1 deck ;-) WITHOUT a mixer.. and he looks a bit too clean cut if he'd been caining it since back in the day.

everyone knows discogs is THE place to go for such info (much to some friends annoyance as it gives away their aliases hehe)

(the song on the advert is on itunes by "him" , well not the bloke acting in the advert)

I never got the hang of fly fishing,  the hooks were way to small, the bait way to smelly, and a piece of fly paper (though cheating) is much more efficient.

I didn't, now I do. Good site, they even list an LP I was on! (track 2, side 1)

Karyn, I'm thinking that an even easier version of fishing might be to use an industrial sized version of James' Sous Vide device (http://forum.cakewalk.com/tm.aspx?m=2229945).

Granted, there may be leftovers and angry neighbors, but you wouldn't have to leave the hammock.  I'm not seeing a down side here.

Yup, I'm old enough to remember the original J.R. Hartley campaign, kinda cute that they brought it back (in a sort of cynical marketing 101 form of cute) ;-)

    For a moment I thought you'd posted this: http://www.youtube.com/wa...eature=player_embedded

which is far preferable to the real thing (which are so fundamentally annoying it's untrue!) but does somewhat smack of a viral campaign....
