SONG: They came from the north

Hi,

EDIT - I had put in a link to the wrong song! See other thread

It's going for a reverby, "dirge" like feel ;-)

The usual suspects include:
SONAR 8.5.3
Superior 2 (Music City kit)
Trilian Bass
Omnisphere
real guitar through POD XT

All comments/criticisms/suggestions welcome ;-)

I thought some of the sections in your song sounded nice and I like the changes in your song but the mix just didn't work for me maybe a bit too much reverb in some of your tracks .

My take on it , still like it but for me I might go lighter on the reverb and balance your overall mix .

Thanks for listening radio. I did purposely go overboard on the reverb - it's not something I normally do. I understand that it won't be everyone's cup of tea though ;-)

I quite like the sound overall, but as a song it doesn't sound finished to me - kind of unfocused like you've left space for something else and then not put it in - kind of a backing track if you like. I've got a horrible feeling I've said much the same about one of your tunes before, if so, sorry about that, but that's how I hear it.

EDIT : The link you put up sends me to a tune titled " Ephemeral" rather than that shown in your thread title - might explain the familiar feeling !

I've started a new thread with the correct link. Thanks a lot for listening, but I'm not sure which song we're talking about now ;-)
