Sound Forge 10 with X1 64bit?

Has anyone had any luck getting Sound Forge 10 to become available as an external editor in X1's Utilities menu?
Mine isn't even listed and I've seen alot of chat about others with the same issue.

I had to set it up manually by following this guide, but it does work.

Thanks! I've been looking for a solution to this.

I wish we could deep edit audio directly in Sonar and do things like drawing on the waveforms etc.

But this is a good second best

+2.  Appreciate this thread...I am getting back into SONAR with X1 after being away for over a year.  I forgot about this trick.

Just found this thread but I'm having trouble getting sound forge to show up in sonar 8.5, (64bit) windows 7. Scott,is the method you give is the same one shown on the cakewalk? If there is a difference I don't see it.... (http://www.cakewalk.com/S...eader.aspx/2007013099) I have tried this three times now and still no show. I wanted a visual example and found this, (http://www.sonytalk.com/u..-sf9-sonar-t19774.html) which was a big help and this is exactly how my registry looked after editing it but sound forge is still not showing in sonars tools menu. Can you see anything wrong as I'm completely stumped. I had it working before I had to reformat. Steve

    ExePath C:\Program Files(x86)\Sony\SoundForge Pro 10.0\Forge100.exe
    MenuText Sound Forge Pro&10

Yeah, users that seemed to have problems following the guide have reported success by using a registry file.

Mack thanks for the help but tried it and still now show.
Got all excited for a moment :(

Thom, not sure what you mean by a "registry file" you're not referring to a regedit I take it?

Stratman, how did you set it up manually if not via a regedit?

    Cheers

    Steve
