SoundCloud and ReverbNation .... yep!!!

If you develop an ear for sounds that are musical it is like developing an ego. You begin to refuse sounds that are not musical and that way cut yourself off from a good deal of experience. -- John Cage

We have both soundclick and reverbnation.
One problem I see with reverbnation is they email you constantly with gigs to submit. No problem except you have to pay to submit!? What's up with that? Do you actually get gigs you pay to submit for? Has anyone out there got a gig that way. I thought it was the other way around, you play and then you get paid. Not you pay and maybe you get the gig. These days everything is a money making venture.
We have had the best return on our youtube videos for getting gigs. Just direct people to them and they see what they get.
Another question: Do we really need a website? Been getting by with facebook, youtube and myspace as of yet.
