Tribute to Gary Moore

Here's a blues tune I'm posting in tribute to Gary Moore.  It's a backing track and I just did the solo over it.   It's not a Gary Moore tune, and I don't claim to be at his level, but I tried to capture the spirit of his style and sound.

Wow!  Thanks Warren!  That's really cool of you to say.  For this tune I used my Epi LP into AxeFx direct to Sonar X1.  Some post EQ and reverb, but not much else.

Nicely done, you definitely nailed Gary's style.   The snare is a wee bit loud but otherwise mix is good, I might bring up the bass a tad too...  Like the build, excellent chops.

That AxeFX sounds pretty sweet, I have been considering selling my G-System for one as I never use it anymore, have been using Guitar Rig instead.  What are your overall thoughts of the AxeFx?

    Regards

    Thanks guys!  Really appreciate it

@markno999, overall thoughts of the AxeFx are love, love, LOVE it!  Coming up on 2 years with it, so that's not the honeymoon stage talking.  I've used it live for over a year in a heavy classic rock band, and I use it exclusively for recording.  IMO, convincing tone, fantastic fx, and none of the hassle of an amp rig.  I've heard great sounding recordings with Guitar Rig, Amplitube and the rest, so I'm not knocking those.  Just for me, the Axefx works as an all-in-one solution for live and direct recording.

Thanks again for the really nice feedback guys
