These things are crap. Don't bother. I bought a set and after 2 days they all started falling off and left a cheap CHINESE crappy glue residue all over my keys. Had to remove all the keys and clean them with alcohol. Not worth it. Way too tiny to read anyway. Even at 6 bucks it's a rip after you spend 3 hrs fixing all the residue it leaves behind.

Yeah, just forget about it, what a horrible idea. It would be different if somebody made some kind of adhesive that you could put on there so if they fell off you could glue them back on. But nobody makes anything like that. That's just Crazy. And keyboards are so expensive. I mean, you could dish out 10 bucks for a keyboard. You could end up having 15 bucks wasted on this very helpful idea.

    Pfff. Screw that.

    Thanks, Chris!

I'm still going to give them a try, even if I end up using my own adhesive to stick them in place.

    Meet OPTIMUS MAXIMUS

I know you have all probably seen this but it would be perfect for making your own custom X1 setup. Even changeable when different keyboard shortcuts get changed. Still pricey but gets cheaper every month. Nice looking babe in the video so it's worth a look just for that. Sorry, been locked in the studio a little too long.

I did that cleaning with alchohol. Drank some too. What makes you think these are even made by the same manufacturing plant as the ones you bought 2 years ago? It could have changed you know. My last post on this discussion. Just made a simple statement about my personal experience with that product and only that product and some people have to turn it in to a federal case. get a grip people. Go buy a whole case of em far as I care. hehe

i have been using them for about 8 months and no sign of peeling at all. Having said that i would prefer a sonar issued, dedicated keyboard.

That's funny, during the video it shows a picutre of Bert & Ernie on one of the keys. The same picture that I have in my avitar.

The keyboard is cool. The price isn't.

    Are the stickers precut?

I hope so, I just ordered a set.

I think considering the very spammy nature of one particular person (who I won't point out publicly) it's best to hold off on this until some of us have received our orders. It concerns me that someone would post they have received the product on one forum, get banned on another and ask how to get the discount/quality of product on even another (and who knows how many more) under the exact same name.

As asked on the other forums, why would someone do that? It's not like we wouldn't have welcomed them.

Here in Poland, on auction service Allegro, you can buy stickerd for several audio and video editing software.

And - because my girlfriend is a graphician, print secialist and DTP operator, I can say few words about - how the stickers SHOULD be made:
    - printing is simple - solvent plotter prints on self-adhesive foil
    - next step is - putting safety foil on the prints (one side hot foiling)
    - at last - cutting plotter cuts little button stickers

This gives you warranty, that the "result" will be long lasting, water/sun proof and as good as you design it.

It is also the best way to make custom faceplate stickers etc. The clue is, to make EPS, PDF, Corel, AI file (vector curves) with cutting lines for cutting plotter. That's the "most difficult" part of whole preparation process.
And - costs are as funny as low: For one square meter - up to 30$ here.

Phenom II x6 1100T (OC to 6x 4,1gHz), 8gB DDR3/1600gHz RAM, Win7/64; SONAR Producer X1c; Korgs: Z1, M50, Triton Rack, TRinity Rack; NI Maschine; Behringer BCF-R2000; MOTU 828mk3 FW; Edirol Edirol UA-1000; guitars: Cort Z-Custom, LAG JET100 totally customed, Cort SFX-DAO; some other music toys, one very musical cat

I got mine. It's going to be a couple of days before I put them on.

They are really quite nice looking at first glance, nice and bright (which is important to me) Despite the spammy nature of a particular poster (on at least 4 forums) as far as I'm concerned it was a perfectly acceptable business transaction.

Surely E is for effects bypass in X1 and not Erase?????
And why did "Sequenser"??? fit but "piano roll" didn't?????
To me those sort of things are a sign of bad design.
    Perfection??????
    Our motto is quality??????????

I prefer to make my own, design them in corel, print them onto sticky paper (outer of cd sheets is good) and then put a protective film over them, yes I have to cut each one out, but I end up with a custom keyboard the way I want it.

I have a set of them for Presonus Studio One on my keyboard and they work fine.
You have to scrub the keyboard squeaky clean before applying them.

Use some simple green or something like that, wipe with a cloth and just water and then follow up with some isopropyl (not rubbing) alcohol and wipe dry.

I used a tweezers to peel them off the card and apply them so I wouldn't touch the glue with my grimy hands :)
