FL STUDIO does the Pattern Mode in Sonar behave similarly? 32bit synth compatability?

I have to constantly bounce from FL studio (since the workflow is faster to make instrumentation) but its lacking in the wave editing department. Cubase doesn't have the overall and Midi workflow that I like, although I'm trained well in both. I was attracted to Sonar when I read its reviews in KvraUDIO AND that its made for faster workflow. In addition, the 64bit Cubase doesnt like all of my old 32 bit synths. So does Sonar have a 32bit app included in the retail version? Best if theres a 32bit and a 64bit dll to choose from.

I want to know if SONAR has a place to store patterns and paint them in on the fly and remove them much like FL STUDIO?
When I make beats, i make a lot of rhythms that don't suit the particular song but I can keep those sketches for other songs and export that midi data or save it as another track. I end up creating 3 tracks when I plan one out. So this function is quite necessary for me as a producer.

Thanks :D

64bit and 32 bit of Sonar are on one disc.
Storing patterns are np.. can be done many different ways so to say,  X1 is totally different beast the FL. Note: you can rewire fl into sonar if you like..
Check out the videos online you'll see alot of info your looking for. One way >You can make a folder if you like on your desktop and drag you midi files right into that for later recall.

Alright that kinda sounds good? There's light in the tunnel here :)
What I mean is if i make a B.S pattern, I can simply click one button go to on to Pattern 2, Pattern 3 and try something else that works without losing the first pattern. I sometimes edit a pattern in Cubase and go crap I like the one I did before. Then I dont have to move that pattern around the gui just so it doesn't get in the way. I can recall it with 1-2 clicks.  If I have to save and all that the workflow speed is lost.
The main point for me is to ditch FL and Cubase and stick to one Daw.

This is an awesome feature - you can drag .wav or MIDI files to the Desk Top as djj suggests and also into the Windows Explorer.
