The simplicity of it facilitates ear training.  I am going to pass this on to my students.

Thanks much, trimph1, for the link.

You have students?  have you considered tutoring bapu so he can go beyond the realm of one note Am?

Maybe we should introduce him to this?

Actually, due to my visits here, I have changed lessons due to the prominence of Am.
    I now have:
    - The history of Am and how it influenced Andrew Carnegie.
    - The use of Am in  Bohlen–Pierce motifs - and ways to avoid the pitfalls of misuse.
    - Am's role in the fall of the Kublai Khan's empire.

I have considered soliciting Bapu as a guest speaker.

Katie2 That is indeed a new direction for a new era in the bapu one note wonder of Am world.  Obviously "The Bapu Effect" has far reaching implications, even into the past.

Aren't you afraid, however, that some of your students will leave your institution, sell all of their belongings, give the money to The Bapu and follow him as a disciple?

No.  Most have become part of the Charlie Sheen sect and believe that dilutional inspired music is the future.  However, I do suspect Bapu could influence them to discard their didgeridoos and choose another instrument.

Only if it is fretless.  Else, the proper fingering of Am would not be possible.

Not bad. This started with a simple online sequencer (really cool by the way) and ended up being about fingering a guy...

Now this is what I call free spirited communication!

Indeed.  I have discovered the CH to be in a static state of alteration.
