Spring is fixin to sprung
If you know what I mean.... Yep, we started the winter with a serious bang, and some of you are still shoveling it.... But I came home today to see the first harbinger of spring indicating that soon, it will be here. It was in the 80's the last few days and now it's a cool 50 with full sun.....

*Bub makes a vampire hissing sound and shields his eyes from the sun with his forearm.* Sunlight and warmth. Blah. Gimme -30 actual temps and 6' feet of snow all year round and I'd be happy.

Ha! Spring... not yet... but in the land of perpetual drizzle... gray fall, extra gray winter, gray spring... sunny summer, and we had one of the infrequent valley snowfalls this past week.

Maybe a few birds and squirrels.

Without mentioning the flashpoint topics "global warming" and "climate change", it seemed like winter started and ended a month early here in beautiful North Carolina. I like the 'ending early' part; didn't much care for the 'starting early' part.
