32-bit directx in 64-bit sonar?

Is there any equivalent of bitbridge or jbridge for directx plugins?

What I did was use a DX to VST wrapper to convert those plugins to VST.  Then bitbridge picked them up and bridged them to 64 bit.

I can't remember the name of the wrapper but Google "DX to VST wrapper" and a bunch of posts appear.  You can probably use the same keywords for a search of this forum and also find it.

Good solution for being able to use a dxi for which there is no VST version, but I assume when you open an old project that used the dxi, you get an error in Sonar, correct?  I mean, Sonar would be looking for the dxi plugin and would not see the wrapped version as the same plugin, would it?

You know, that error wouldn't surprise me.  I tend to start new projects when I do an upgrade so that one hasn't bit me but I bet it would.
