RD-300GX /RD700GX - sustain during midi playback

Hi,
I am exprieinceing a problem when trying to play a midi track through my keyboard with Cakewalk
Using the GM 2 tones it plays fine, but when selecting the main tones, e.g Guitar/Bass the track plays as though the sustain pedal is continuously pressed. I tried inserting a pedal off event in the track but that had no effect.
Any suggestions are welcome....

    aargh - today fired it up and its working absolutely fine, same tracks, same set up and no strange reveb on the tones?????? I'm guessing by the lack of any response, no one has had the same problems (or has bought one of these keyboards perhaps)?
