Why is my MIDI clipping (could be a real dumb one here)?
I have the DP full fingered bass loaded and the MIDI track shows the red bars at the top of the meter even if I turn it down all the way. Velocity shows from about 80-120 in PRV. Anyone tell me why? Thanks, Randy

I was just noticing the same thing on the DP Full fingered Bass (not making that up) - but do not get it. Seems to cause no harm but why red with the velocity/volume turned down? It's almost as if it's signal indicator of sorts with nothing to do with the velocity/volume hmmm.

I can't hear it clipping so I guess it's okay...BTW Larry, it's not just that bass that does this for me but also the (free) EWQL strings (separate instances of violins and cello). Thanks, Randy

On the midi tracks the red now just indicates midi activity. Good for spotting when volume is to low and not registering. The audio outputs are still the same indicating clipping. I am assuming this is as intended. There was another thread earlier about it.

MIDI can't clip. If you dislike the red activity indicator use non segmented meters.
