X1 studio and EZ drummer

Im trying to use EZ drummer in Studio..

It will play my EZ drummer files when I drag and drop them in studio but it plays a generic drum sound library...
it doesnt sound like the EZ drummer sound library.
I had this problem with a different DAW (pro tracks plus) so do I need to load EZ drummer into Studio so it can read its sound library?

Also , when I have EZ drummer open I dont get playback from Sonar , I have to shut down EZ drummer first to get Sonar to playback

it sounds like you're trying to use EZD in standalone mode outside of sonar.  do you have it inserted as a softysnth or did you open it from the desktop or start menu?

you need to open it by inserting it as a softsynth from inside sonar.
