Aux buss pre Master is resetting itself to infinty dB

Hi - aux buss fader is auto resetting to infinity on start (no volume) - does anyone know why this might happen and how to stop it?

    Do you have a volume envelope in that  bus? If so, the fader will follow the envelope, and if the envelope starts at -inf, the fader will reflect that.
