Hi Larry, thanks for listening, twice. I know what you mean, it's my go to tuning when composing something new. Glad you liked the 'feel'.Opinion seems to be divided on that matter.

Hey Rik. you have a metronome. You have a grid. this is 2011. Huh.. you're supposed to use them if you can figure out how. Actually, that is what music is now: trying to figure things out.. And, of course, THE beet.

Other than that, this was absolutely, positively fantabulously gorgeous...........

Hi Tim, thanks for listening. What is this "beat" everybody is so worried about? If it's that important to you all, I will have to look for it, well ...... maybe. Thanks for the heads up on what year you live in, which calendar are you using ? (joke!)

Greetings, Rik

There is a rhythm to a mountain stream. It's not the same as a steam engine.
A stretch of tumbling rapids, 'round a bend, along the flats, a waterfall.
Each has its own rhythm, yet it's still the same stream.
I rather like the little rolling twists in this.
Very nice.

Hi Rik

This is absolutely lovely (just like that nymph I saw - in my dreams (or do I mean hallucinations!)). Your musicianship is exemplary. Your compositional skills second to none. This is music I would pay to listen to again and again (and there is very, very little of such music in this world). Love it.

Best Regards
Malcolm

Hi Kev, thanks for listening. Irish would suit me fine, I usually use the term "celtic" for these kind of pieces in dadgad-tuning.

Hi Janet, she deserved to have a nice little tune in her honour, don't you think ?

Hi Malcolm, thanks for listening. Glad you liked it. That dancing nymph comment from you started this so thanks very much. If only I had known before you wanted to pay for this .

Hi Scott, thanks for listening and comments.

Hi Robert, thanks for listening and taking the time to write this. This sums up exactly how I think about rhythm. Now if I can get my music to sound as nice as these wise words I'd be very happy. Thanks again !

Pretty is pretty, on or off the beat.  I do understand the distraction, but the music just ended and I didn't hear the offbeat parts.  Oh, I'm sure they were there but I was trying to figure out how you play the fingerstyle so nicely.  Very nice, Rik!

Hi Warren, thanks for listening. Don't worry about the offbeat parts, I don't know where they are either , but I'm told they're there.

Excellent song piece Rik. You have a great sound going on that guitar. Only criticism I have is, I wish the song was a little longer.

thanks bub, I'll consider that.  but the problem I have is why should I have to install stuff like that for soundclick when I don't need it for any other site?  that irritates me to no end!

Hi Shawn,Thanks for listening and nice comments.

Hi Bub, thanks for listening, this was intended as a little musical "thank you" to a friend but there are elements in this that I could use as the basis for a longer piece.

Hi Beagle, for what it's worth, Google Chrome gives me the least troubles on Soundclick.
