Is there a place to write notes? Not mucisal

H- I was recently watching some of the Master Class videos for drum pattern building, etc with SD3, with he DAW open and following along step by step. I was wondering and cannot find any tool or feature that is a place to write notes on a session... I could always open notepad I guess. But it would be cool to have a note pad to write our own "help" section to build on and refer to on a tutorial we/ve taken notes on....etc.... Maybe its there and I don't know?

Thanks

You can enter notes for the whole project (File -> Info)

or Folders (Dbl click below the track count indicators)

or tracks (Dbl click the empty area below the volume & pan sliders and use the description field)

YW guys!  I use that one all the time.

the professional version lets you paste pictures in it but it's no longer supported.  I just use the free one.

Thanks Beagle, a handy little gizmo all right. I also downloaded the Sonic Explorer which is a very basic tool to play any music file from a explorer window without opening a media player. Looks like it will be handy for exploring sample files quickly.

Thanks again from here too. ! Last night I opened the "Info" section of the file and was surprized that existed and how its formatted----nice. And loads of space to write stuff about the project...
