True Piano Problems in Sonar 8.5

I am having problems getting True Piano to work in Windows 7 x64.  I am using a simple M-Audio Delta 66 card to record through, and I have a Yamaha YPG-535 Piano on a Midi channel.  I set up a midi channel using True Piano's, but I don't have options to change it.  When I add True Piano's in the F/X bin, I hear the piano with the effect off, but not with it turned on.  Very Frustrating! 

I will include screen shots shortly.  If anyone could help with this it would be appreciated.

    I'm not sure I'm following your process of "setting up a MIDI channel using True Pianos" and then "add True Piano's in the F/X bin" - and what do you mean by "hear the piano with the effect off, but not with it turned on"?

    what exactly are you doing to add TP?

    I know you can add softsynths using the FX bin, but I've never found that to be a good way to do it.  just add it by INSERT>SOFTSYNTHS>TRUE PIANOS and then when the dialog box pops up, insert a MIDI track if you need it, or not if you already have one.  set up at least one output (I can't remmeber if TP with sonar has multiple outs available or not).

    that will set up TP as a synth in the synth rack and will set up the OUTPUT track you need for TP.

    EUREKA.  The little piano looking button right next the the track number opens up the True Pianos panel.  Problem solved.
