Sonar x1 Studio with Studio Instruments Drums - How can I make my own program?

Using Sonar x1 Studio with the Studio Instruments Drums softsynth.  I have been looking for a simple solution and by now I would be happy to find any solution to this.  I simply want to pick my own snare sound, my own bass sound my own toms and save to a "program".  I am pretty sure I cannot do that in the tool itself.  I see session drummer 3 does it, but you need the producer version.  I have the studio version.

This really does not seem like rocket science, i mean the samples are right there.  I see there are prog files in one place and in another place there are sfz files.  Oddly the "kit" looks like a single layered instrument, and not a drum kit.  My guess is, I should be able to stick a couple sfz files together and have my own program.  I have no idea how to go about doing this.  I dont want to change anything about how the individual drum sounds work, I just want to be able to make my own kit out of the ones that are there.  They just dont have the snare, hat, kick and snares I want in one kit.

I assume I can start up 4 soft synths and drum map my one drum track to send data to 4 SI Drum Kits, but that doesnt sound smart.  Someone has to have done this.  In short, how do I make my own program from the sounds available from different kits.  Please throw me a bone...
