Yamaha PSR-293 .ins file

Good afternoon.  I am using Sonar 7 and Windows Vista and I am quite the novice at this.  When I connect my Yamaha PSR-293 via usb port the instruments that I hear frequently do not match the instrument settings on my keyboard.  Based on my subsequent sleuthing I am lead to believe that I am in need of a PSR-293 .ins file.  Does anyone have an .ins file that I might procure?  Any additional and/or appropriate helps, guidance and/or words of wisdom would be greatly apprecated.  Thank you.

I have the same keyboard, but I don't use it much any more for recording - it sits in the family room for the family to pick on.

but I never did find or make an INS DEF for it.

there are some INS DEFs here that are close which you could use as a starting point and edit one of them to work (all you need is the manual for the PSR-293 that has the patch map in it).

I appreciate this resource.  Now is as good a time as any for me to develop my ins file editing skills.  Thank you Beagle, that was most regal, may "Beagle Sound Productions" soar high like an eagle.

    lol!
if you do develop an ins def, submit it to that site above so others can use it, if you feel charitable!
