Problem with vista in assign instruments

I'm new here I have had cake walk for years but I now have a newer computer with Vista on it. When I  import  my Korg instruments the work for the current session. Once I shut off Cakewalk and start it up again there gone. Yes I check the box to save them. This works fine on my old computer with XP on it. Any help or Ideas would sure help. I also had a problem with the files on vitsa and the note symbol did not work. I fixed those.  Thanks Bob
