Just installed M-Audio D44...question?

Hello all,

Just installed M-Audio D44 and the sound card sounds great however, when I use Sonar X1 Essential, the vertical line that used to flow smoothly across the music now jumps in 1 second intervals.  Music sounds fine but the jumping is unnerving.  Anyone know of a solution?  Thanks.

AMD Phenom 9650 Quad 2.31 GHz
Win7(64) 6Gbt ram
Sonar 7
Sonar X1 Essential
M-Audio D44 (nice!)
YPG-635 Midi - USB interface

    StarTekh,

Great suggestions...thank you.  However, I tried my trusted solution that I've been doing for years.  Many do not know about it...I rebooted my computer and WALLA! Smooth scrolling!  Now, the question is why don't I try this stuff first before I waste everyone's time!?  My bad.  Thank you for your support!

    StarTekh,
Everything is up to date after checking so I think I'm good there...even the BIOS.  So, I think I just needed to reboot Windows...it happens sometimes...
