Nah! It'll be a BREEZE.?! NOT!
Good luck to you n all of us az we sort out the various users and their uses of the program. Then the programerz can fix all that they can. But they have done a lot in the past cpl days. I get the Subscribers Notifications from start. I have all of them. A cpl hundred n then some. You can download the Sonar X1 >producer, or which ever you have. Then play with it a little. Or just get the Sonar X1a update that just came out. Knocked out many issues. many more to come, as w/all new software, that can have so many variables, az a musician can think up/create. In a few months they're(Sonar/Cakewalk) is going to update w/ Sonar X1b. So Merrily we Rock n Roll along.
Best to ya my friend. Just be patient, expect issues. And you'll do just fine.

Hmm.?! I've been w/Cakewalk since 90 ??. They only had floppy disk and only did MIDI. Then came Pro Audio 1 thru 6 (I believe) then Sonar.

At this point, I am open... have not decided.  Leaning toward installing it on the same drive, however from the post of studiocybr, perhaps better to do it on its own drive.  What are your thoughts>

perfect no issues, i have win7-32 install its on its own ...
drive with its own data drive. no issues there either..

note: the Os was updated and the motherboard chipset
