What's the best way to speak to my wife about using my equipment?

Maybe a different phrase for each day of the week??? Just so it takes her a couple weeks to realize that it is all I think about.

Suggestions?

Warnings?

Maybe?

    Help me out here.

Are you saying all you think about is wanting your wife to use your equipment in a fortnights time and don't know how to tell her?

Is fortnight middle English for "ten minutes from now"?

    No.  Two weeks.

But if I'm asked if I can do something to be ready 10 minutes from now it will probably take me a fortnight.

I'm still no clearer as to the original question...

Depends on whether it's you or her that you want to use your equipment.

As long as you're only using it with her you should be ok.  Or does your question in some way have to do with music?

    Hi Chuck,

No it's not a dig... it's a pile on... I'm just having fun with words.

We do it down here so frequently I didn't think it would be interpreted as a dig... my apologies!!!

With regards to your question in the other thread... here's what I do... make sure all the guitars you buy are the same color... and then deny that they are different guitars.

    best,
    mike

Maybe she's not into that whole vintage equipment thing of yours and would rather use some more modern stuff?

In order, then, to discover the limit of deepest tones, it is necessary not only to produce very violent agitations in the air but to give these the form of simple pendular vibrations. - Hermann von Helmholtz, predicting the role of the electric bassist in 1877.
