How do I view the whole pro channel strip?
Only just got this so bare with me. A simple question really; how do I view the whole of the pro channel? Like, I can't see the top half etc. There's nowhere to scroll up either. I'm no doubt missing something but there you go.

Is it in the console view or the inspector you can't see the whole thing?

What screen resolution do you have? In the console view you can scroll up and down when the tracks doesn't fit.. I don't think you can do it in the inspector though.

Yeah. I get what you mean. I can also see the whole thing on my screen. However, I have the screen resolution set to 1680x1050 and the Pro Ch. just fit my screen. If you have lower resolution than this, that could be your problem. =/

If your monitor doesn't have the resolution for full viewing, I believe you can undock the pro channel and then have the ability to scroll it.
This all started when I purchased Cakewalk Pro Audio 5 X1a Producer Windows 7 Pro x32 M-Audio Fast Track Ultra AMD 3.1Ghz x3 Processor 4Gb 1600Mhz DDR3 Memory

I did undock it but there's no scrolling. Anyway, I managed it under the console view. A little bit fiddly & hard to view but it will do for now.

Let's hope cakewalk implements a function for the ProCh. that lets you hide/show only the parts of ProCh. you want to see at the moment, similar to how the "normal" channel's hide/show-function works..

You can also hit the 'C' key to hide the control bar or choose Compact EQ module under Display Pro Channel options at the bottom of the inspector window - both options with their obvious drawbacks.

Until I upped the resolution of my screen I couldn't see the entire pro channel either. You need 800 pixels or so (1200 x 800 resolution gives you the entire thing). If you cant' get to that, you can wiggle the prochannel and see most of it. grab it and raise it up to the top of the screen, and visa versa. I could reach everything doing that at like 760 or so. If you are at 600 you are screwed. @

I have this same problem in Track View - changing screen resolution and undocking were no help. What I did was to click on Display at the bottom and reduce the size of the EQ module in Pro C, then I can see enough to use all functions. I can't see all of Track Inspector either so in Display I uncheck the volume control. However, they are also of course viewable in Console View.

Have a look at this thread: http://forum.cakewalk.com/tm.aspx?m=2250383 SONAR Plus can be very useful if you have limited screen space. If you use it in 'Full Screen Mode' you can even see the whole ProChannel at 1024 * 768.
