Hiding the Properties Inspector ?

Even on my 1680x1050 display, all the Track Inspector controls can't be shown without disabling a bunch to get the ones I'd like. The Prop Insp. just takes up too much space even if not being used. Inspector panes aren't scrollable or resizable and even in their own window or dock I still can't get them displayed properly. How about a tab option for one or the other?

Some of this is the result of the font size choices (which aren't adjustable). I'd like to request a hide/show option for the Properties, so the Track stuff can actually be visible.  The font size also inhibits the view options available for the control bar with no room available for some controls without disabling others. I seem to recall that font sizes were options in the color menu at some point.
I've also not been able to find the output midi channel control in the track inspector for controlling multi-channel VST's. The bank/preset selector works with some VSTs but oddly not things like Zeta, etc.

I get random crashes every 4 hours or so, and I'm looking forward to the 1b patches in the hopes that things will stabilize. Unfortunately, when SONARSTD.EXE dies, it also locks up the ASIO driver for my Edirol UA-4FX requiring the 5 minute shutdown/reboot of the machine.

At the top of the Inspector are tabs for Track, Clip, and Pro Channel. Click those to show/hide their respective properties.

'I' just does a expand/collapse function. My concern is that the 'Properties' pane in the Inspector isn't re-sizable and isn't scrollable either. It masks a significant portion of the 'Track' pane modules. For example, if I want to see the 'FX bin' and 'Sends',etc then I need to disable the volume slider and icon. Very awkward!! And on every track!! Manually!!  Whoever got 'HOT' on the Properties pane as a fixed size "feature" needs a disable option for its tab options!

I'm still working out how to send some jpg clips to illustrate this, but this board just resets msgs when I attempt to attach jpg's directly.

OK, so Clip and Track are toggle tabs! This isn't apparent when just switching between them. I should have guessed. It may be in the chm but didn't show up in my initial searches.

I also had problems finding out how to dock into full height/split height for inspector/browser panes until watching a video. I didn't find references in chm or pdf, though they are probably buried in there some where.

    Thanks for hints.

Clicking the tab a second time will hide that particular page (clip, track, Pro Ch)
