Rainbows In The Dark - Using Vocaloid Prima

This is an old one of mine which needed some vocals. This is supplied by Vocaloid Prima. I wasn't too convinced that this program was any good. I've changed my mind now!

Thanks to the users on the forum who I contacted re Vocaloid in Sonar. I use it in 32 bit mode on ReWire which works fine. You have to click the ReWire button on Vocaloid when you make a change but apart from that works well....

Quite a bit different from your previous tracks: This one's a bit more new age sounding. to my ears.

This is a really nice track with an inspired arangement and the vocals work really well.

The only crit is that it sounds a bit too hot to my ears and i'd prefer less compression.

    All-in-all though, great stuff.

    Hi John

I've taken one of my first recordings here. So this is very "poppy" melodic and mainly comes from when I just wrote or created with loops. Anyway, I had some lyrics kicking about so I tried it with Vocaloid and the results were better than I expected. So this is officially my first song. I've spruced it up as this will be the title track to the album I will one day release!

Anyway, thnaks for taking the time out to comment.
