Garritan Sounds

Thank you all for your erudite, timely, and patient responses to questions from newbies such as myself.  Can I use the Garritan sounds I have in Finale, or the sounds I have in Sibelius to record/playback/burn to files using Sonar 8 Producer.  I am using a Korg Triton Extreme as my midi and an Mbox 2 interface.
Thanks again for any tips you can give me.

No - those sound libraries are proprietary to their respective programs. You can, however, save your Sonar files in the .mid format and open them in Sibelius or Finale and play them back there. Use a General Midi synth like TTS-1 to create the file and then import it into the other program. The sounds will likely line up pretty well automatically. If not, you can always reassign as necessary.

I don't believe that is true. I would double check that. It depends on what format those libraries are in. If they are VST plug-ins, then they may work in Sonar.
