Amazing vocal performance
This morning I came accross this vocal performance and was amazed. I must say I've never seen anyone perform a song quite like this little lady! How did she do that? You have to give it a minute until mid-song. http://www.break.com/index/thailands-got-wtf-2024375 Pete

Well, I certainly can't figure it out. It's a little scary but I wish I could sing like that! Sorry Beag, it should work just fine. Maybe you can try it again, perhaps the site was flooded with hits. Pete

I am sure I have spoken of a Lady singer I worked with a few years back. She had perfect pitch, the lady I had given a bass as a present, and she explained how she could not tune it, and then I found out the bridge needed adjustment. Well, she had an incredible range, from low to high was far beyond what most people could accomplish. She was one of those "great and wasted" talents, in that she could sing so well, almost anything, plus her natural ability to pick up any instrument you gave her, and she wasted this talent on kareoke. She would sing in different local bars every week, so much that she had a following, people actually went to the bars she was at every week to see/hear her. She did a trick where she would pump some air into her chest, sort of the way you can suck air in to do a fake burp. With the air in her chest she could drop her vocals down an octave, but she had the same "strange" look on her face as this girl does when she goes into low mode. She had to "burp" that air back out to come back to normal. I think it is simply a "trick" that some learn.... Later Albert
