Windows 7 and an older UA-25

I have a new Windows 7-64 labtop and Sonar X1 Essential installed.
I downloaded the Windows 7-64 driver for Roland UA-25. I do have a UA-25 wich is NOT the newest UA-25ex.
The device shows up int the lists, and audio from other applications (like Mediaplayer) is played back al right.
I tried all the driver modes in the Sonar Playback and recording setting. Nothing works. No input, no output.
What can be done?

    Hi Maarten,

I'm running Windows 7 64bit on my PC, with the older UA-25, running 8.5.3 Producer.  I realize I'm not running the exact same set-up as you, but everything works for me.

Here's the stupid question - whatever project you're listening to, are the outputs pointing to the UA-25?

I am running with an older UA-25 with win7x64 and all works fine. I recall having to go through an upgrade procedure when installing the UA-25. Perhaps try their website and look for upgrade drivers.

my messge above wasn't written very well. I was trying to say that when I downloaded the update driver there was a procedural document which I had to work through when installing the driver and setting it up. Don't forget with win7 you seem to have to run the applications as an administrator to install properly.
