A1MixMan I'm right near the end of a project in X1a, so I will wait to upgrade to X1b until I finish it. What about you? Are you gonna wait and see, or dive in head first? Like several others on this thread, since I find X1 unusable in its current state, even with X1a - of course I'll immediately install X1b to see if it brings the program to life. I'm still using 8.5, and am happy to be as productive as ever with it - nothing changed there. So of course, I'll update X1, and if X1 then finally actually works as advertised - even if the horribly amateurish interface hasn't changed (grrrr, sigh, and argh), then I'll be able to seriously try X1 out and see if it becomes my program of choice. If it doesn't work for me, NP, I have 8.5. Randy

...wicked Weren't the ides of March three days ago? At any rate, I'm in immediately. X1a is just used for "screwing around" projects right now since it's problems make using it for mission-critical work a no-go. I'll install the patch immediately and see if it's fixed enough things to start using it for heavier stuff. After a thorough backup of course. Yuppers...Ides of March: March 15 See, I knew that Shakespeare class would be good for something!

Some bugs should be fixed just so its usable... I think that they should hold out for a major release sometime this year. Just make X1 abit more usable. so no X1b just a new release date for x2

From what I've seen, lack of talent pays better. (At least for the Black Eyed Peas, it does.) I like B E P a lot, except for the girl singer. She can't sing in tune!
